A miniature circuit breaker from the old Wylex NN range which is a now long-discontinued line. Suitable for use in general domestic consumer units. These were first replaced by the Wylex NSB circuit breaker range before which then was replaced by the NHXB circuit breaker range. This is the Wylex NB16 16 Amp Single Pole Type B 6kA 230V Miniature Circuit Breaker MCB.

Wylex miniature circuit breakers (MCB’s) are designed to detect overcurrents due to both fault and overload currents. The MCB will operate and interrupt the supply, preventing damage to the installation.
